I changed the resolution in sequence settings. I had to save, close and re-open Premier to see the change in the program monitor. I adjusted the scale for the clips and it is now processing the output file. It took about 10 hours to process the 4K into 1080. It looks like it will take close to 30 hours to create the 4K output. When the processing is done, I will see how big the file is. Then I will see if it will fit onto a flash drive.
I think what you are saying is that I could use the flash to transfer the video file to a media player at Best Buy, not that the file would play directly through a USB port from a flash drive on a 4K TV. Correct ? I was just trying to read about those WD and Sony media players. The Sony says it can play 4K. But it is $700 dollars, which seems expensive. I could find nothing saying a WD media player can play 4K. They seem to be limited to 1080.
I know of one favorite 3-D movie which is not yet available on Blu Ray, but which is apparently available for Sony Playstation. I forget, it is either The Mad Magician (Vincent Price), or It Came from Outer Space (Richard Carlson). I would be tempted to get the Sony Media Player if it could play that movie. The information about the unit says nothing about 3-D. It would be crazy to spend that much money to get a media player that could not play 3-D. Does anyone know if a 3-D movie for playstation can be put into a Sony Meida Player and played in 3-D on a 3_D HDTV ?
It occurs to me that with standard definition video, rather than suffering the loss of quality associated with making the DVD, I could preserve my important SD video in much higher quality as a file, if I can play that file on a HDTV at full quality. Does anyone know if these media players cna play SD files on an HDTV at full SD quality ? I can tell you that SD plays very well on my Panasonic video projector, but looks terrible on my 3-D LED TV.
Whie adjusting scale I wanted to be able to zoom in to the the edge of the program monitor so I could better see when I zoomed in too much and cut off a row of pixels. I know how to zoom inthe program monitor, but can I pan over to an edge ?
